6:30 – 7:00pm Joining

7:00 – 8:00pm Campfire



Hot Chocolate and Popcorn will be provided.

Dress for the weather.

Due to recent and significant damage to the rail line it has become increasingly difficult and expensive for families to get basic groceries, so let's help by stocking the local food bank!
 
How can I help?!
It's easy - your group can work on collecting the following in-demand items:

Feminine Hygiene items – pads & tampons

*cloth & eco-friendly items can help reduce the impact on the environment!*

Toiletries – toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, floss etc.

Flour 1kg                              

Baking Powder 225 g        

Sugar 1 kg                            

Tea, Coffee                          

Crackers 900g         

Cereal – (no sugar/oats) 1kg                   

Peanut butter 500g                  

Jam 250g                        

Soup 245ml                    

Macaroni, rice                   

Pork & Beans 398 ml                

Canned stew / ravioli                    

Klik                                     

Vegetables 398 ml *low sodium*                   

Fruit 398ml *packed in water, no added sugar*         

Whole grains such as barley, brown or wild rice

Milk, and alternatives like powdered milk or fortified shelf-stable almond, soy and rice milk



Please avoid glass containers as they increase shipping cost and risk of breakage.

Reusable items, eco-friendly items & biodegradable packaging can help reduce the impact on the environment!



Then sign up below for a drop off time and rsvp to the packing party when we'll prep all the goods for shipping (pizza & pop provided)

Groups collect food items and coordinate a drop off

Camp Amisk Rabbit Site April 17th 6:30pm

or

Transcona Scout Hall 110 Winona Ave

April 26 & 27 6-8pm, April 28th 2-5pm 

Volunteers, Youth and parents are welcome to attend a packing party on

Sunday April 29th 1-4pm, pizza and pop will be provided for attendees as we pack the goods for shipping *be sure to sign up for a drop off time and RSVP to the party*
